This makes them ideal for applications with demand for ultraviolet light sources in high precision absorption measurement applications such as spectrophotometers, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), capillary electrophoresis (CE), continuous free-flow electrophoresis (CFFE) and pollution monitors, and various specialized photometric equipment designed for use in the ultraviolet waveband.
